MAGNAETHICA
Ethics & Governance Advisory for Founders
Make compliance a competitive advantage — not a cost centre.
Intentional Integrity.
Build boldly.Govern responsibly.Grow with integrity.
The bigger your ambition, the more your decisions matter.
Every growing organisation reaches decisions where the question is no longer “What can we do?”
The better questions are:
- Should we?
- What could go wrong?
- Who is affected?
- What happens if the system fails?
- Who is accountable?
- What kind of organisation are we becoming?
MagnaEthica helps founders answer those questions before they become expensive problems.
Compliance should protect value — not destroy it.
Treated as paperwork, governance slows you down. Designed well, it does the opposite. Good governance can:
- Build trust with customers, staff and partners
- Reduce avoidable risk
- Strengthen decision-making
- Protect your reputation
- Improve investor confidence
- Support sustainable growth
- Create real competitive advantage
LOVE is how we turn integrity into action.
A simple four-step discipline. We use it to move leaders from uncertainty to intentional action — in that order.
- LISTEN
Hear what others overlook.
- OBSERVE
See the patterns behind the problem.
- VISUALISE
Define the better future.
- EXECUTE
Turn principles into action.
Where ethics meets execution.

Built from a simple conviction: how we build matters as much as what we build.
MagnaEthica was founded by Michail Papatzimas, an ethics and governance adviser working with founders and organisations at the point where business, technology, compliance and human judgement meet.
His background spans business development, field sales, hospitality and financial services — the commercial front line, where the pressure to hit targets meets the responsibility to do things properly.
He works across the UK and Ethiopia, and brings a direct, practical approach: understand the real issue, ask the difficult questions, then help leaders act with intent.

The machines are changing. The questions are not.
Automation, AI assistants and agentic systems now make and carry out decisions that people used to make. That raises old questions in new forms: who is responsible, who checks the work, and who answers when it goes wrong.
The more autonomous our systems become, the more important intentional governance becomes.
We help organisations decide where AI fits, where humans must stay accountable, and how to adopt new tools without quietly giving away judgement.
